Once upon a time, there lived four very good looking people.
One was very kind to animals and very smart.
The other, was always acting curmudgeonly and had tiny, little baby hands.
Another, had a terrible coffee addiction and was plagued with near sightedness.
And the last one, me, was often confused.
Huaraz
One day, the four decided to explore Peru.
It might be that they didn’t realize how fashionable Huaraz was, or that they forgot how handsome I could be and felt like they couldn’t compete for The Girl's attention without cleaning up a bit. Whatever the reason, Baby Hands and Coffee Addict's first goal in Huaraz, Peru was to start lookin’ good.
Huascaran
After cleaning up, the crew of good looking people was ready for an adventure. Our first goal: Climb Mt. Huascarán.
...Or maybe, instead of actually climbing the mountain...we'd just read about climbing, and enjoy a nice cup of coffee at the café.
Llaca Boulders
All filled up on coffee, we headed out to climb something more our size.

Baby Hands, overconfident with a new haircut, thought he could conquer the boulders by just flexing in front of them.

I thought maybe the way to conquer the boulders was by tip toeing my way up them.
Windshieldwiper V4
And Coffee Addict thought that he could just style his way up.
In the end a wise old cow told us, "You can't conquer the boulder by flexing, nor by tip toeing, or even by being stylish."
We were all scared that a cow had talked to to us, but listened to his wise words.

The cow continued, "Just climb the damn thing".
Hatun Machay
We took the cows advice and wandered to a sacred area called Hatun Machay to try and put it to use.

The Girl, who paid extra special attention to the cow's advice, was the first to put it to use.

I also gave it a try.
As we mastered the art of climbing, our many fans shouted support from the distance.
Everything was working out perfect. Then Coffee Addict killed a goat.
Pachamanca
And Armando cooked it up Peruvian style: Pachamanca.
And we feasted!
And feasted well.
And drank tasty libations.
Coffee Addict ate THIS much.
But after all the good climbing and great food we were still very unhappy.
I mean our fingers hurt...
and the view was terrible....
Life was hard.
So we packed up and left the magical land of Peru to find other, new adventures.
